TBE Social Activities
TBE Social Activities
Brunch Bunch is a senior group that goes to Sunday brunch at a local restaurant once a month followed by an "after party" for games and other local social activities. If you are interested in attending an event please contact Temple Beth El.
Mah Jong We have a group right here at TBE that meets every Tuesday for lunch at a local restaurant and mahjong at the synagogue.
There is no weekly commitment!!!! Come as you wish, for lunch only, Mah Jong only, or both. Once a month, every week, or some schedule in between. It’s up to you. Whether you are a novice, or expert we have a welcome place for you! We also take two trips a year. In the past we have gone to the Alfred I. DuPont Mansion & Gardens, movie & a drink, and New York for lunch and a show.
If you are interested in hearing more about what we do or to become part of our group, please contact Lynda Bell to have your name put on our weekly e-mail list.
Chaverim is a synagogue Men’s group (mostly retired) that gets together on Wednesday afternoons for lunch and cards at Temple Beth El. The group also gets together on the first and third Monday for breakfast at a local diner. This is an informal group with your only obligation being to RSVP for activities. Contact the Temple Beth El office – 302-366-8330 if you would like further information.
