Welcome to Temple Beth El
Temple Beth El is a Reconstructionist Synagogue founded in 1954 by a small group of Jewish families. We are a warm and welcoming community committed to the learning, practice, and celebration of Reconstructionist Jewish life and values. We invite you to join us and persue your spiritual, cultural, and educational journey as part of our extended family.
The mission of Temple Beth El is to maintain synagogue and educational, religious and social activities to further the goals of the synagogue and Judaism and to provide cultural and moral leadership for the Jewish population of the greater Newark, Delaware and surrounding community, including neighboring areas in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey.
